MBI Community and Dolo Town have struggled to cross between the two areas.

For many years, residents of MBI Community and Dolo Town have struggled to cross between the two areas, particularly during the rainy season when flooding and poor road conditions often made travel difficult and, at times, dangerous. The lack of reliable access has affected daily activities, limited economic opportunities, and hindered access to essential services.

With the completion of the bridge, residents anticipate significant improvements in movement, trade, and social interaction. The structure is expected to boost local economic activity, make it easier for students to reach schools and patients to access health facilities, and strengthen social and family ties between the two communities.

Community members have expressed gratitude to Representative Ivar K. Jones for prioritizing infrastructure development in District #2. Many describe the bridge as a transformative project and a critical investment that will have a lasting positive impact on their livelihoods.

The upcoming dedication of the MBI–Dolo Town Bridge marks another important development milestone in Margibi County, underscoring ongoing efforts to promote community empowerment, improve infrastructure, and support sustainable development at the local level.
