The 19th Annual Session of the Kokoyah District Concerned United Methodist Church has received a significant financial boost following firm monetary and budgetary assurances from Bong County Senator Prince Moye and Representative James Kolleh of Electoral District #2.
The commitments were disclosed during the closing ceremony of the conference held on Sunday in Gbelekpalah, Jorquelleh District #3. Senator Moye, alongside Representative Kolleh—his successor in District #2—jointly pledged Five Hundred Thousand Liberian Dollars (L$500,000) to support the conference’s programs and operational activities.

Speaking on behalf of both lawmakers, Senator Moye went beyond the immediate financial contribution, pledging to advocate for the inclusion of the Concerned United Methodist Church in the national budget framework. He further reaffirmed that key institutions in Bong County have already been allotted funding under the 2026 National Budget, stressing that sustained budgetary support remains critical to accelerating development across the county.
In response, the leadership of the conference expressed gratitude to Senator Moye and Representative Kolleh for their consistent engagement and support. The session ended with prayers seeking divine guidance and protection for the lawmakers as they continue their public service.
