LPRC Supports Skills Devlopment with Donation to Atlantic Vocational Training Institute

The Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC) has donated essential tools and materials to the Atlantic Vocational Training Institute (AVTC) in Clara Town, Bushrod Island, as part of its ongoing commitment to youth empowerment and skills development.

The donation, presented by Mr. Kenneth Martu, Assistant Manager for Corporate Affairs, on behalf of LPRC Management, includes wheelbarrows, shovels, kitchen appliances, and various food supplies. These materials are intended to support training programs in culinary arts, cosmetology, tie-and-dye, and other vocational fields, helping to equip students with practical, marketable skills.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Mr. Martu emphasized LPRC’s dedication to community investment and national development:

“This donation is not just about materials; it’s about empowering young people to transform their lives and uplift their communities.” Receiving the donation, Mr. Roland Siddiq Kamara, representing AVTC, expressed profound gratitude to LPRC for the timely support:

“We sincerely appreciate this generous gesture. These items will significantly enhance our students’ training and improve the overall learning environment. We are committed to using them for their intended purpose.”

LPRC remains steadfast in its mission to support education, community growth, and youth-driven initiatives across Liberia.
