January 4, 2026:Monrovia, Liberia — The Liberia Kickball Federation has begun a landmark four-day tour to Sierra Leone, opening a new chapter in the nation’s kickball journey. Headed by Federation President, Amb. Emmanuel Suprise Whea, a delegation of nearly 60 players and officials is flying the Liberian flag at an international kickball tournament.
Amb. Whea said the tour is a vital step toward exposing Liberian athletes to higher-level competition and strengthening the growth of kickball at home. He noted that the team is determined to represent the country with pride and skill on the regional stage.
The tournament will bring together multiple teams, fostering competitive play and regional sports unity. Supporters believe the experience will sharpen the players’ talents and broaden their international exposure.
Under Amb. Whea’s leadership, the Federation remains confident that the tour will positively impact the future of kickball in Liberia—a sport that continues to empower female athletes and serve as a source of national pride.
