The Suakoko District Youth Association has officially inducted its new leadership into office to steer the affairs of the young people in the district for the next three years. Held at the Suakoko Youth Center, the ceremony brought together sons and daughters of the District, alongside local and national leaders.
Senator Moye stated that today’s kids will only become future leaders if they uphold the confidence placed in them today by their peers. He emphasised that young leadership can only be utilised today as a stepping stone to national leadership if today’s leaders continue leading in the interests of their colleagues.
The Bong County Senator urged the newly inaugurated leaders to prioritise the youth’s well-being, emphasising that leadership entails duty and accountability. Senator Moye emphasised that his own path to national leadership began with youth involvement.
Senator Moye consented to install window glasses for all windows at Suakoko District Multipurpose in response to youth district requests. The Senator also committed to provide 100 cartons of tiles, 50 bags of cement and one motorbike to help the young leadership’s activities and mobility.
Moye donated LD 50,000 and USD 1,000 to support youth development efforts in the area.
