Hon. Prescilla Abram Cooper Give Major Support Ahead of district League

District #5, Montserrado County – In a passionate display of commitment to youth and sports development, Hon. Prescilla Cooper has once again stepped forward to invest in the future of her District’s young athletes, this time with a powerful message: “Bring the Trophy Home!”

Hon. Cooper paid a spirited visit to the District #5 soccer team during their training session at the Vokar Mission Football Field, where preparations are in full swing for the upcoming Montserrado District League. Her visit not only lifted the spirits of players and coaches but also brought tangible support that many described as a game-changer.

In her third consecutive year of backing the team, Hon. Cooper donated, Three full sets of jerseys, Tracksuits for the squad, Three professional-grade footballs and A cash donation of LRD 100,000.

These contributions aim to boost the team’s morale and readiness for the season, reflecting the lawmaker’s enduring commitment to empowering youth and fostering local talent.

The event drew several stakeholders in the football community, including the LFA Subcommittee District #5 Chairman, members of the Steering Committee, technical staff, and an energized group of players — all of whom expressed deep appreciation for Hon. Cooper’s continuous support.

“This is our time. We must be ready to fight, to win, and to make District #5 proud,” Hon. Cooper said while addressing the team. “Your discipline, unity, and passion on the field are what will set you apart. Know that you are not alone—we are all behind you.”

Players beamed with excitement as they received their new gear, inspired by the strong show of encouragement and the resources provided to support their dreams.

The call to action is now clear: Residents of District #5 are urged to rally behind the team as they take on the League with one mission — to bring the championship trophy home.
