Tebeh Football Academy Opens Justification Week With 100 Young Players

Monrovia, Liberia — The Tebeh Football Academy (TFA) on Monday launched its much-anticipated one-week justification process with an enthusiastic start, drawing 100 aspiring footballers from across various communities. The opening session took place at the Alpha Old Timers Field, where young talents gathered with hopes of securing a spot on the academy’s roster.

Day One featured an intensive program led by Head Coach Aloysius Glassco and his technical team, who put the players through physical assessments, basic drills, and small-sided games. These exercises were designed to measure skill level, fitness, discipline, and tactical awareness—key attributes the academy prioritizes in its player development philosophy.

Coach Glassco expressed optimism about the energy and commitment displayed on the opening day. “We’re not just looking for talent; we’re looking for discipline, determination, and players who can adapt to our philosophy. The first day was promising,” he said.

The justification process will continue throughout the week with technical evaluations, scrimmages, and tactical drills forming the core of the selection. Only a carefully chosen group of players will advance, based not just on raw ability but also on their attitude, teamwork, and potential to grow within the academy’s system.

For many of the young hopefuls, the process represents more than just a chance to play football—it offers a pathway to structured training, exposure, and long-term development opportunities.

As the week unfolds, excitement remains high among players, coaches, and supporters, with the final list of successful candidates expected to be announced at the close of the justification exercise.
