Bopolu, Gbarpolu County – In a bid to bridge the healthcare gap for residents in remote parts of Gbarpolu County, Representative Zinnah A. Norman has introduced a modern mobile clinic to serve communities across Bopolu District and beyond.
The fully equipped facility on wheels is designed to address longstanding barriers such as long travel distances, poor road networks, and inadequate medical infrastructure—issues that have hindered timely healthcare access for thousands.
According to Rep. Norman, the initiative will deliver on-the-spot consultations, preventive care, and public health education. The mobile unit will also collaborate with the Emirates Hospital and local clinics to ensure that even the most isolated residents receive essential services.
“This project is about fairness and accessibility,” Norman emphasized. “Every citizen, regardless of where they live, should have access to quality medical care.”
Staffed by qualified healthcare professionals, the mobile clinic will function as an extension of existing health facilities, aiming to improve health outcomes and strengthen community well-being.
Reaffirming his commitment, Rep. Norman said, “Together, we can build a healthier, stronger Gbarpolu.”
