VOINJAMA, Lofa County — The Center for National Documents and Records Agency (CNDRA) has concluded a three-day operational assessment in Voinjama City aimed at strengthening collaboration with staff, stakeholders, and county authorities, while gaining firsthand insight into the performance and challenges of its local facilities.
The assessment, conducted from January 7 to 9, 2026, was led by Deputy Director General for Administration, Gabriel N. Domah. During the exercise, the team distributed essential office equipment to the County Service Center to boost staff efficiency and morale, while also engaging employees and stakeholders to identify operational gaps and solicit recommendations for improving service delivery in line with the agency’s rescue mission.
Discussions during the assessment revealed notable staffing limitations at the CNDRA local office, underscoring the need for institutional support to enhance service effectiveness. The engagement was described as productive, reinforcing working relationships with county officials and local partners.
On Thursday, January 8, the team held a constructive meeting with Lofa County Superintendent, Hon. J. Lavala Massaquoi, focusing on areas of mutual cooperation. Key issues discussed included office space constraints and the need for improved coordination between CNDRA and the Liberia Land Authority (LLA).
Superintendent Massaquoi commended the National Archives administration for its timely provision of office equipment and praised CNDRA staff for their consistent dedication to duty. He further disclosed that the building currently occupied by the LLA is owned by the CNDRA/National Archives of Liberia.
To address the matter, the Superintendent recommended that CNDRA convene a conference with the LLA to initiate formal discussions regarding the use of the building and the registration of legal instruments, as part of efforts to strengthen institutional coordination and service delivery.
