A Dawning of a New Day for Southeasterners

—after decades of suffering

In continuation of the Southeastern Tour, Deputy Minister Prince Tambah and a host of engineers today inspected the Greenville to Buchanan Road Corridor.

The Team also comprised two Assistant Ministers for Operations and Technical Services, Margaret Sarsih and John Zogar respectively.

The approximately 200-Kilometer Corridor from Buchanan to Greenville is pliable, with notable, critical spots maintained and/or rehabilitated.

They include:

  • Welcome to ITI
  • Palm Butter Hill
  • One House, amongst others

According to Deputy Minister Tambah, these inspections are aimed at stabilizing major road corridors across the country ahead of an anticipated heavy downpour of rain this year.

Meanwhile, the Team also visited the ongoing construction of the new Samuel A. Ross Greenville Port Bridge, the J. J. Jones Bridge in Seebeh Community and the Gharbo Town to Sanquin Road.

These structural works are implemented by the Ministry’s Bridge Unit.
