GBARNGA, Bong County — As part of efforts to strengthen grassroots reporting and expand its coverage across Liberia, Liberia Latest News TV has announced the appointment of seasoned journalist Alexander Benedict Dardekoli Togbah Jr. as its official correspondent for Bong County.
The appointment, announced by the management of 13NEWS Network and Media Consultancy Incorporated, owners of Liberia Latest News TV, marks a strategic move aimed at enhancing news gathering and community-focused storytelling in one of Liberia’s most populous counties.
According to the media institution, Togbah will serve as the organization’s authorized representative in Bong County, responsible for covering news events, conducting interviews, engaging public officials, and reporting on issues affecting communities across the county.
The appointment reflects the network’s broader commitment to deepening its presence outside Monrovia and ensuring that developments from various parts of Liberia receive timely and professional coverage.

Togbah brings more than seven years of experience in media and communications to his new role. He currently works with Super Bongese Radio 104.9 FM, where he has earned recognition for his reporting and dedication to public-interest journalism.
Prior to his current position, he served as News Editor at Radio Zota, where he played a key role in newsroom management and news production, helping to strengthen the station’s editorial content and public engagement.
His reporting career has covered a wide range of sectors, including governance, education, healthcare, community development, and public policy, making him well-positioned to provide comprehensive coverage of issues affecting Bong County residents.
Beyond journalism, Togbah is also a certified public speaker and a student at Bong County University, where he is pursuing studies in Public Administration and Information Technology. His academic pursuits, coupled with his professional experience, underscore a growing commitment to leadership, innovation, and national development.
With his accreditation now formalized, Liberia Latest News TV has called on government institutions, private sector organizations, civil society groups, community leaders, and residents throughout Bong County to cooperate with the new correspondent as he undertakes his reporting responsibilities.
